Coming with a Destination Reggae and Dancehall first, Stylo G has had both the original single ‘Touch Down’ and now the remix featured as track of the week, as Stylo G has released one of the best tracks this year in ‘Touch Down’ with the remix just adding more flames to the fire.
When this remix touched down (see what we did) you already knew it was an iconic link up with the biggest artist in UK dancehall, linking up perhaps the biggest dancehall artist in history, with the biggest female rapper in history. We knew history was going to be made on this track and when Nicki drops “Young Money, I’m in the UK” this history seems to be coming alive with perhaps the biggest international move made by a UK dancehall artist since back in the early 2000s with Tippa Irie featuring on a Black Eyed Peas track.
This is a historical moment for UK dancehall and a moment that is incredibly well deserved by Stylo G, who is perhaps one of the most underrated dancehall artists in history, who is finally getting the intention he deserves after 10 years in the music industry. Stylo G has had the formula for a long time now, dating back to the classic UK anthem ‘My Yout’. Stylo G has kept performing brilliantly and seeing this incredible look coming for him in 2018 you already know he is going to take full advantage of this position heading into 2019.
Stylo G has given us yet another incredible track to add to his extensive yet underrated collection, including classics like ‘Yu Zimme’, ‘Call Mi A Yardie’, ‘My Yout’, ’10 Metric Ton’ and many more, Stylo G is making the whole world look on this track and we at Destination Reggae N Dancehall believe that dancehall superstardom is about to ‘Touch Down’ for the greatest UK dancehall artist to ever grace the scene.
